New Castle County, DE

New Castle County  experienced a 15.3% decrease in the number of sold homes for the first two months of 2019 compared to 2018 and a 7.4% increase in the median sales price from $209,449 to $225,000. The number of homes that went under contract in 2019 decreased 14.7% from 2018.

Kent County, DE

For the 1st two months of 2019, Kent County experienced a 14.5% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and a 15.8% increase in the median sales price from $189,950 to $220,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the first 2 months of  2019 decreased 12.4% from 2018.

Sussex County, DE

For the first two months of 2019, Sussex County experienced a 11.5% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and a 1.8% increase in the median sales price from $275,000 to $282,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st two months of 2019 decreased 6.0% from 2018.

Southern Chester County, PA

Southern Chester County  experienced an 27.6% decrease in the number of sold homes in the 1st two months of 2019 compared to 2018 and a 7.2% decrease in the median price of sold homes, from $370,000 to $343,500. The number of homes that went under contract in the first two months of 2019 decreased 5.8% from 2018.

Cecil County, MD

For the first two months of 2019, Cecil County experienced a 9.3% decrease in the number of sold homes compared to 2018 and an increase in the median sales price of 7.4%; from $195,500 to $210,000. The number of homes that went under contract in the 1st two months of 2019 increased 8.9% from 2018.
